  ST⭐R OF THE WEEK: 2022 is Marksman's year!🤩 @student._.choppa  born Oswayne Marks has made everyone take notice of his musical ability with his viral hit, "Verified Choppa 2" which set social media apps like TikTok a light as it was one of if not the most used sounds locally on the platform. The song has now accumulated over 600k streams on Spotify and 2.8 million views on Youtube since its release last December, over a million views in the last month, and over 100k for this week alone. This week the Frome Technical High School student seems to have added yet another viral hit to his catalog with his single, "Top Coote" which is currently the soundtrack to the trending  #topcootechallenge  on TikTok.

ST⭐R OF THE WEEK: CHRONIC LAW

  Who is putting out music like Chronic Law? Arguably one of the most hard-working artists in dancehall, the St. Thomas native stamped his class this week with his latest single, "Corrupt" produced by the dynamic producer duo  @attomatic_records  and  @dan_skyrecords The single is currently one of the most-streamed songs in Jamaica with over half a million views on Youtube since its release on Valentine's Day and it now sits in the top 25 most-streamed Reggae songs by local Apple music subscribers. In total, the artiste has accumulated more than 2.2 million views on Youtube over the course of this week, with help from songs like "Corrupt", "Nuh Frighten fi Nttn" and his most recent release, "Graveyard Shift".

ST⭐R OF THE WEEK: SQUASH

  The Godfather, the shot-caller,  @squash6iixboss  makes dropping hits look easy! The Trending deejay has been in incredible form, from songs like Still A Roam, 2021 smash hit Rate Who Rate You, to Racketeer, to Cyaa Bruk Back amongst other honorable mentions to now having two of the biggest songs in the country, Sweepstake Life and Ambala. The songs are  #3  and  #1  on the local Apple Music charts for Reggae music. Sweepstake Life has accumulated 2.5 million views in the space of a month and Ambala has accumulated over 660 thousand views since its release only a week ago. Ironically, he is the 6th most streamed artist on Youtube in Jamaica for this week. Both Sweepstake Life and Ambala were produced by  @hemtonmusic
